Chemistry Major, Student, Hiker, Nurse
I've been a student for a long time with no immediate end in sight. I have a love for education and the outdoors. I've always preferred science and math over art and literature. However for the last few years I've become much more interested in literature and journalism. I've been working for the past 10 years as a Vocational Nurse while continuing my education with dreams of getting a degree in Chemistry. However, I've put that goal on hold several times to fulfill my deepest calling, hiking. I often loose myself in woods for months at a time including a 2,500-mile trek across the California, Oregon, and Washington mountains. I'm a current student at Fresno City College, transferring to Fresno State next semester. My hopes are to become a first grade teacher and later peruse a masters in child development. During my free time I love spending time with my family, playing with my daughter, I love watching TV and listening to music. Family is everything to me because our time is precious.
